GTP of Art collects nothing
The short version
GTP of Art does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any information about you. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. Everything it remembers stays on your iPhone.
What the app keeps, and where
To work, the app saves a small amount of information only on your device:
- your game history and scores, daily-challenge streak and the works in your Collection;
- your swipe choices and the taste profile calculated from them;
- your onboarding answers and settings (for example sound, haptics, appearance and difficulty).
This information is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you.
Like other app data, it may be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud or computer backups) if you have backups turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us.
What we collect
Nothing. The app sends no data off your device, so there is nothing for us to collect, analyse, retain or share. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other software development kits.
Sharing results
If you tap Share, the app creates a result card (an image and short text) and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes (Messages, Mail, a social app, and so on). The app does not see or store where you shared it. What happens next is governed by the app or service you chose.
If you choose Save Image from the share sheet, iOS asks for permission to add photos to your library. The app can only add the card; it cannot read your photos.
Links to other websites
Price and image sources in the app are links. Tapping one opens the page in Safari, outside the app. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
Children
The app is a general-audience game. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your choices and deleting your data
Because all data stays on your device, you are in full control of it:
- Delete everything: delete the app from your iPhone. This removes all of the app's data from the device. (Copies in older device backups follow your backup settings.)
- Restart onboarding: use the option in the app's Profile screen.
There is no account to close and nothing held by us to delete. You don't need to give or withdraw consent for data collection, because none takes place.
This website
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google when the page loads; Google's privacy policy applies to that request. The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security, as any web host does.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits any data, we will update this policy before that version is released, change the effective date above, and update the App Store privacy information to match.
